A superior high quality pressing of this supremely symphonic folk black metal album. Also with excellent artwork to illustrate the story in the songs. I'm glad I decided to ditch the digital and and get this on vinyl which treats this music with the respect and dignity it deserves. Hails! Favorite track: Tales of My Lands.

H.L. "Cry of the Lost" brings us melodic folk black metal from Switzerland, well balanced between cheerfulness and heaviness. The lively and heroic approach puts me in a good mood. The songs are anthemic but not too catchy what keeps them interesting for a while. The stomping "Tales of my Lands" is my favourite and recommendation for a quick check. Favorite track: Tales of My Lands.

akunderhile This is an outstanding album! The mixture of elements is perfect. It's got all the features I love about bands like Slechtvalk, Immortal Souls, Holy Blood, and Apocalypse Orchestra, yet it doesn't really sound like any of them. Fantastic folk elements, blazing guitars, killer drum work and brutal vocals. Favorite track: Tales of My Lands.
