eclev So I'm not a big fan of power metal with a ton of high range singing. Actually, I don't think I've ever been able to listen to a full album from that genre. This is a HUGE exception. I could not stop listening to this album...the Chris Cornell-ish vocals, melody, riffs, all of it just works so well. Favorite track: Back For More.

NikosToolnikc 42 years old and still looking for pure solid good music. Pyramaze delivered one of the best five metal albums of 2015. The so called Big Four and other sacred metal cows have a lot to learn from bands like Pyramaze. Thank you guys for the experience.

ss We live in an age of programmed drums and idiots who sing in dive bar language about their ex girlfriends. Pyramaze a welcome reprieve.
Amazing musicianship and fantastic hooks. These Danes walk the line that few bands manage to find. I think major key choruses and wide range emotive singers is more my thing than most listeners, but as a life long 40 something metal nerd with a wife and kids and another life inside a pair of headphones it doesn't get much better. Other fav's are conquering dystopia, angel vivaldi, Jeff loomis. My fav programmed drum apartment genius is shades of black.

Josh I usually listen to instrumental metal, but the vocals on this record are actually pretty great. The songwriting and emotion are even greater. Very solid album.

about

Pyramaze continue to make music that is dark, thought provoking, all with a sense of fearlessness. “Disciples of the Sun” is definitely one of the most interesting and best melodic metal albums to be released this year and fans of the genre won’t be disappointed!
